Yes, our last trip focused mainly around these areas! They were really a paradise, as you say, and I know there are many-many more routes there to take and places to see!freedy a écrit :Prefer the south. The coast between Pyrenees and Alps is a kind of paradise, but take care of the summer affluence...

I agree! It's the trip itself that matters the most, not where you go!Niopow a écrit : Anyway, travelling on bikes is great not much the way !

An interesting destination! I believe I could reach there following a path that passes near:jesaispasunnom a écrit : One bike ride that I really appreciated was when I went down to "Vassivières" Lake in the "Massif centrale" - the mountains that are right in the center of France. That would make a change for you from the Pyrenees and the Alps .
No, never! It is, though, in my plans. England (and Scotland) are places I would really like to visit and tour on a bike. For such a trip, though, three weeks to a month would be the minimum time required. I don't know if I can set aside so much time this year... but then again... who knows?jesaispasunnom a écrit : Have you ever been to England on your bike? I am planning to do so some time soon , the ferry from Boulogne to Dover costs peanuts for a bike, something like 40 € for the bike and two passangers! Cheap or what !
