My name is Nick. I live in Athens, Greece.
First of all, forgive me for this being in English. I understand some French (enough to read most of the posts with the aid of a dictionary) but not enough to dare write in your language (the results would certainly be ridiculous)!
I'm 37 years old, and I ride bikes since I was 17. I currently own a Honda CBF600S (since 2007) and it has recently clocked 110000km (I know, its time to start looking for a new bike).
Last summer, some friends and I, had a 15-days trip to France and Spain. We mostly focused around the Pyrenees and we also took some marvelous routes in Alpes-des-Hautes-Provence. You can find our complete itinerary here:

I enjoyed the French part of the Journey immensely.
This year I plan to visit France again, for 10 or 15 days during the summer. So here's the question: Apart from the Pyrennes (which I found magnificent) and the French Alps (which are, to say the least, spectacular) which other parts of France would you suggest for touring with a motorcycle? I know that there are good motorcycle routes everywhere, but which regions would you suggest one should visit first? Any other comments and suggestions would of-course be more than welcome.

was when I went down to "Vassivières" Lake in the "Massif centrale" - the mountains that are right in the center of France. That would make a change for you from the Pyrenees and the Alps
